A Slow Day in the Kingdom

An uneventful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and our heroic King lounges on his throne, bored senseless.

I see King Mario Toadstool as more of a figure for the kingdom, and backs up his politically trained queen. He's a plumber, not a diplomat. The Mushroom Kingdom enter a prosperous age under Mario and Peach's rule, and Bowser finally admits defeat.

I do not like how the throne or floor turned out, I tried to make the floor marble. Not too fond of the gemstones on the crown, but I don't work with crowns very much.

Mario's thoughts: I should request pagers for castle personel. I wonder if Peach has any plans tonight...
